"Best place to live"

Safe, clean and best schools. Great coffee shops (Vanilla Pod),best architecture (beautiful old homes) and fantastic people. Beautiful gardens (people really take pride). Better value than Bulimba Hawthorne, Bardon, Highgate Hill and Chelmer which are all in the same price bracket except Ascot has large blocks of land. Close to airport and Sunshine Coast just up the freeway love it, love it. Best playgrounds for the kids.

"Very expensive but nice place to live"

Rented an apartment here for a couple of years and really enjoyed living here. The rents are expensive but it is a nice place to live.

"Good surburb, but a bit expensive for what it is."

Good suburb overall. It has many different parts including hilly areas with lovely views and flat leafy areas. Nice neighbourhood but people like high fences. Nice schools. The traffic can be an issue with Sandgate Rd and Kingsford Smith Drive very busy in the mornings. It is expensive compared with other suburbs that offer the similar lifestyles in innercity North, West and South.

"Fantastic area for families best schools"

Ascot is one of the best places to live in brisbane. I have lived all over australia and ascot is up there with mosman sydney and brighton melb .It is Safe ,Great schools. The people are very friendly always smiling.Fantastic coffee shops .You don't need to leave the suburb has all amenities ,near the airport and north coast Noosa is straight up the freeway. Ascot is not a snobby suburb just the opposite .Kids can ride their bikes safely around the suburb. Large blocks of land and great architecture.5 mins from the city centre.Ascot primary school is the closet thing to a private education without the fees.

"Hamilton is an exclusive suburb of Brisbane bordering on the Brisbane River."

Bordering on the famous Doomben Race Track, Hamilton is the home of many professional people. It is 'old Brisbane'. I say that because it is 'old money' that owns the homes in this area and some of the properties are in second generation. The houses are magnificent and the blocks quite large which is always desirable.

It has developed into an upmarket café area and because there is not too much traffic right near the cafés it is quite a popular place for people to spend an hour or two.

On the southern side of Hamilton is the Brisbane River but properties do not run along the river frontage at this point. Also near-by is the famous Breakfast Creek hotel which has been a drawcard for visitors for many, many years.

All up an exclusive place to live, only 10 mins drive into Brisbane city.
