If I have to choose between Burnside, St. Mary's and Blackwood, what would be the best option?

We are a family with two school going daughters and moving permanently to Adelaide shortly. We would like to reside in a suburb that offers affordable rentals, good public schools and a good market that stocks Indian goods. What suburb would you suggest I opt for? A reply from the local experts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, Candice. I replied to your question on the Woodville area and I'd be happy to help you here too.

Burnside is a very expensive place to live, but has amazing quality homes, wide and leafy beautiful streets, extremely safe, friendly and quiet. It is located 15-20 minutes from the CBD and with the main roads surrounding Burnside makes it easily accessible to the city.

Blackwood is pretty much the same. St Marys is probably more cheaper to buy while remaining pretty safe and quiet. If your looking for Indian goods, head to the inner northern suburbs like Prospect or Nailsworth, or anywhere before Regency Road. In Kilburn/Blair Athol, there are Indian shops and and goods on Prospect Road down there and Prospect and Nailsworth are literally a stones throw away from the Indian goods there. Prospect and Nailsworth are expensive-ish, but not as expensive as Burnside or Blackwood. Still, the are nice areas to live.

If you'd like to ask me anymore questions, I would more than happily answer them for you!
