"Bliss by the River"

Chatsworth is a small, quiet village, surrounded by the Clarence river and local farms. When you drive down Chatsworth road towards the General Store you really get a sense of how beautiful it is. The locals are friendly, you get to know your neighbours and you can rely on them if you ever need a helping hand. The General Store is run by a lovely local family who go that extra mile (or 10!) to give great service to their community (post office, groceries, organic produce, alcohol, newspapers/mags, dvd's and even pizza! are some of the offerings). "Chatty" is the most central village in this part of the Clarence Valley. It's 15 mins drive to both Yamba and Iluka beaches and only 10 mins drive to Maclean. It's also very central to Lismore, Grafton and Ballina if you are commuting to work. The fishing is great, there are multiple boat ramps to access the river and it's peaceful. More families are moving to Chatty as well so there are plenty of kids around for the little ones to play with. It's a great, safe place to bring up your family. Chatsworth Island Public School is located in the heart of the village with around 100 students attending. The nearest hospital is 10mins away at Maclean, as well as local Doctors and even a Chemist that opens 7 days now. Broadband is on at Chatty as well. There are regular buses running from the General Store (including school buses). Why would you live anywhere else?
