Probably the best suburbs are the outer south east suburbs or Melbourne. Depending on your budget, property requirements and facilities that you are after will influence price. At $1,000 per week you near Monash you are really limited to areas like Dandenong, Knox, Hampton Park, Noble Park. Although doing a search on realestate.com.au did bring back some options in Malvern East which is a nicer suburb.Clayton is popular due to Chadstone and obviously Monash.
