About: Season runs from October to March each year
Description: Little Athletics is a great way for children aged between 5 and 15 to exercise, learn new skills, have fun and make new friends. Once a child turns five they are eligible to compete. Our summer season runs from October to March and cross country runs from April to August.
General Information: Little Athletics provides a range of athletic activities including sprinting, hurdles, middle distance running, shot put, discus, javelin, high jump, long jump, and triple jump for the summer season and cross country for the winter. Not all events are offered in all age groups due to their difficulty and your child’s safety. For example javelin is not offered until under 10. Events are offered in a rotating program format so some events are not offered in all age groups every week.
