"Peaceful Acreage Lifestyle"

NO TOWN WATER OR SEWAGE AVAILABLE - Also has NO SHOPS or the like which is good as its very quiet and peaceful. The Diddillibah Hall is an excellent location for meetings, gatherings and to vote. The area is all the way west to Woombye however the best part of the area is the eastern edge (nearer to Maroochydore). The acreage/farm lifestyle is perfect yet only 10mins the airport/shops/surf beaches. No units and therefore very few renters make it very safe and a community of like minded residents. A top spot and (unlike Buderim) is not crowded with nursing homes and retirement villages. A really underrated area to live in general.

tinaclay
tinaclay i am looking at purchasing a property on diddillibah rd, however, i am surprised at the amount of property owners wanting to sell their properties which leads me to ask the question. Is there something happening in this area that is making people want to get out ie. future land developments. I love the area and although the property i am chasing is able to be sub divided...in my wildest dreams i would never do this. I am from bris and i would love to move my family of 4 children to this area. can you give me the heads up if there is any developments upcoming or highrise etc would be moving into the area.

"Beautiful Diddillibah"

Diddillibah is great in that manye people even residents of the coast don't know where it is. It is a green clean acreage precinct - genuine farms interspersed with lifestyle acreage.

No shops, no sewage and for the most part no town water, so you need to have a tank and septic which is not an issue as the blocks are typically at least one acre.

Residents are surprisingly down to earth considering many of them are sitting on properties worth $1million+.

Cute village hall and our best kept secret, carols by candlelight with just local villagers every Christmas.

The best end of Diddillibah is as you drive further east from Kiel Mountain. Lovely open country and only 6 or 7 kms to Maroochydore.

Very tightly held area with not many houses coming up for sale very often.

"Best of both worlds -bush & beach"

A pictureseque suburb with large blocks with comfotable homes. Far enough away from the coast for a leafy rural aspect with great veiws, close enough to the coast to enjoy the beaches, shopping, dining etc. Kiels Mountain has it all.
