"45 mins drive to the city, 20 mins to Bribie, 20 minutes to Caloundra."

Elimbah is paradise. Acreage blocks, lots of space, peace, privacy. Only ten minutes to the shopping centre. I travel 20 minutes to work and when you are from Sydney like we are and used to travelling an hour to work everyday, 20 minutes is pure bliss. Not to mention that I am doing 100kms per hour straight down the highway with barely any traffic or traffic lights! My husband travels on the country train to the city - the train goes from Elimbah, first stop Bowen Hills - again - so easy.

We never have any trouble with neighbours and there is no crime. There are dogs on either side of us, but they are no problem. When we have a children's party, they put the dogs inside for us. It's a great place for a cattle dog to run around.

We have walking tracks near us. We can walk north to the corner store or south down beerburrum road. People are quite active around here, with the usual walkers morning and afternoon. Also great for kids wishing to ride their bikes to school. We have large groups of cyclists riding past our house on the weekend - so great for cycling. There are also motorbike tracks and roads for four wheel driving near the pineapple farms.

We live opposite a strawberry farm that sells fresh strawberries on the street for $2!

Corner Store is great for the necessities milk and bread etc. They also do the best hot chips and gravy, hamburgers, fish etc. The bakery makes yummy pies and cakes, great coffee plus pizza on a Friday night.

We drive to the Glasshouse Mountains which is 10 minutes up the road to take in the magnificant view.

JednRach Hi Buddy34,

liked reading your post, my inlaws are looking at property in Elimbah, they are retired and like the look of Elimbah.

I'm a Business owner yet to open our 24hr Fitness Centre (Anytime Fitness) in the Central Lakes Shopping Centre, we have researched the area for months now and did think very hard before deciding on Caboolture. We look forward to opening later this year alongside Woolworths, Coffee Club, Priceline, Brumbies Bakery, SuperNews, Dominos, Medical Centre etc.....
