There are some activities going on at the Community Health area of Gawler Hospital (crafts for senior citizens). They meet every Friday 9.30am - 1.45pm at Gate 4, carpark 5, community services entrance day room - $1 for tuition. They do beading, basket weaving, card making, knitting, bingo, wood burning, decoupage with tissue, scrapbooking. Morning tea and lunch is provided for a cost of $8-00 + 50c for extra cuppa. There are many clubs in Gawler. Best bet is to go to the Gawler Tourist office just off Murray St (where the road leads to Lyndoch on the LHS not far up). There is plenty of car park area. Just go in there and they have brochures for everything, or would lead you in the right direction.
