"Could be better - at least it's cheap"

The quiet of this street can be interrupted in an instant by a few unsavory residents and their friends at all hours of the day. To be fair there are a few nice neighbours. Cars parked everywhere including lawns and footpaths because there is little parking in the street. I've seen and heard of several incidents of crime in this street not including the 3 break ins I know of during my 12 month stay. Could be a nice place to live if the houses were owned by different people. Unfortunately the terrible neighbours are owners. One of the neighbours did a U-turn at a great rate of knots both mounting the kerb and running over my letter-box. They later denied it despite the dent in their front bumper and the fact I actually witnessed the incident. If you have a keen eye, you'll notice the pile of trash including a broken washing machine(s) and other junk at the front door of one property opposite mine that was there when I moved in and there when I moved out.

There is an element of crime in the local shopping centers and I advise not walking anywhere after dark. The nightlife is poor and the local is full of people you would rather not associate with. I travelled to other areas for nightlife and entertainment. Eating out is great if you enjoy takeaway; they are everywhere.

Well established trees and generally quite leafy. The photo on street advisor has to be when the road was being resurfaced as normally there are cars everywhere! The asphalt was applied to fix cracks and potholes so that is a plus. Seen several cars vandalized (seriously you must have a garage to keep a car here). Honestly the worst place I have lived and I was relieved when I moved to Normanhurst.
