"Perfect Location"

Seems like a rally under-rated suburb. It's perfect location smack bang in the middle of north brisbane with access to the new tunnel to get in and out of the city in a flash. Back onto the kedron brook there's plenty of green space to explore.

"Brisbane's smallest suburb but one of the most popular"

Although it is Brisbane's smallest suburb, people love living here. It offers a lifestyle like very few suburbs in Brisbane as it is bordered by the Kedron Brook. The Brook is fantastic for walking, running, cycling or taking the dog to roam free in one of the largest off leash areas in Brisbane.

The people are nice and friendly, mostly families and neighbours always get along. There aren't any schools or major shopping centres directly in Gordon Park so a lot of people drive past it every day and don't even know it is there. Unless they are visiting someone they know or use that stretch of the Kedron Brook it is often forgotten about - a hidden gem. Despite this it does offer fantastic access to public transport via the NorthernBusway & AirportLink. Numerous private and state schools are just minutes away and is just down the road from Lutwyche, Stafford and Chermside Shopping Centres.

Also a short drive to Wilston Village cafe precinct with many restaurants and boutique retail. An increasing number of smaller local cafe's are popping up within walking distance, such as Espresso House Windsor on Gilbert Rd. Some fantastic local boutique businesses like Melt Hair Make-Up Beauty in Khartoum St. You don't have to go far to find good service in Gordon Park.

I cannot rate Gordon Park highly enough! A great place to live, work and play!

"Brisbanes best kept secret"

Smallest suburb in Brisbane I think. Transport options are very good with buses taking you direct to the city, Stafford shopping centre, RBH busway to go anywhere you want, Windsor Rail etc. Short drive to Wooloowin or Windsor rail. Bike track is great access to fitness, parks, Grange library and preschool, shopping centres including Toombul, Stafford, Spotlight, Harvey Norman etc. There are a heap of schools within a 3km radius of GP - private and State. Green, leafy suburb with lots of building integrity and low ratio of 6 packs. Very family friendly, quiet streets, character housing and being close to the brook all give this suburb a sensational vibe. It will really take off once all the road works, busways and impending tree lined boulevards are completed. I am average fitness but enjoy GP because I can ride my bike everywhere - to the library, hairdresser, beauty salon, shops, Wooloowin School, friends houses, coffee shop and it is only a 15min bus ride to the City.

"Smallest Suburb in Brisbane"

A small almost boutiquey suburb on the rise. Houses being bought to either renovate or rebuild. Very central suburb. No real ammenities in the actual suburb (small milk bar, Spice Shop/Coffee) but it is within an easy drive of Newmarket, Lutwyche, Stafford, Toombul and Chermside shopping precincts. Bus route through the suburb or short drive to Wooloowin station. Easy access to freeways north and south. No nightlife or restaurants - this really is a residential suburb. Kedron Brook is a short stroll where you have access to kilometers of bike/running paths, creek for dogs etc. There are also several childrens playground in the suburb. There is minimal traffic although a couple of streets are used as thoroughfares to avoid Lutwyche Rd. Crossing over Lutwyche rd can be slow but this is getting better and should further improve when all the infrastructure works are complete (which will also create better access to freeways and will make the run to the airport quicker. A very liveable, centrally located suburb - quiet but close to everything you would need. No local state school which leaves Wooloowin, Windsor or Stafford State Schools or St Anthonys in close proximity. Great suburb for retirees and families. 5min drive from two big hospitals (Prince Charles and RBH). While there is no childcare in the suburb there is plenty of childcare in surrounding suburbs.

"Great for Families and Pets"

A small suburb but well serviced by public transport (soon to be much better when the northern busway is completed. Plenty of local schools within a short distance, both state and private.
Shopping centres at Lutwyche, Stafford & Chermside are close by. Great parks and bikeways along Kedron Brook with a great off-leash area for dogs extending for kilometres on one side of the brook. Quick commute to the city though Lutwyche road can get busy. nice wide streets and housing is still affordable. a lot of really good renovations are happening so prices might start to rise as the quality of housing improves.
