"The best of everything, one of Yarraville's BEST streets!!"
Hawkhurst is a quiet, neighbourly and friendly street! Metres from home you can dine in the 'old school, crackerjack' style Footscray Yarraville Bowls Club and even roll a few down the green. Down the other end of the street you have the library, the best Pizza shop in the west, an 'all smiles' milk bar, fish and chips, hair and nails, pharmacy, bakery and bottle shop. Metres from Wembley Primary School for the little ones, walking distance to the 'butcher, baker and candlestick maker' Yarraville Village, passing bus services, close to the West Gate Freeway for easy access into Melbourne, further west or the eastern suburbs, and instant access to the recreational McIvor reserve with Cruickshank Park not much further away make Hawkhurst Street one of Yarraville's best. I wouldn’t live anywhere else.
