"Beach on the River"

Kingston Beach is located 11 kms south of Hobart. It is where the mouth of Browns Rivulet enters the Derwent River. A division of the Clifton Beach Surf Life Saving Club is located on Kinston Beach. It has plenty of shops from which to purchase the daily necessities and much more. There are plenty of playgrounds with barbeque areas to enjoy in the warmer months. There is also a bike park, sailing club and a dog beach if you want to get a bit more active. It is the perfect area in which to raise a family as it is a close knit community, with a caring atmosphere and safe environment.
