Launceston consists of a lot of varying suburbs with a population of over 100,000 people to date. Prices vary from $100,000 through to $2,000,000 plus depending on the type of property you are looking for and the location. If you are looking for affordability, ravenswood, Waverley, rocherlea, mayfield will get you a nice house between $100,000 and $200,000. You will find affordable houses in other suburbs, but generally you will be spending between $200,000 to $600,000 depending on location and the type of property.
