There are a number of events and parties on in Melbourne both couples and singles this Valentine's day, such as:

- Grab your single girlfriends and head to The Wing Woman Lunch for a 2 course meal and bubbly for $60 each at the Swanky restaurant Mr Laurence in Port Melbourne http://datelicious.com.au/wingwomanlunch/.

- Enjoy high tea and games at The Old Cheese factory in Berwick for $55 pp http://www.casey.vic.gov.au/arts-leisure/calendar-of-events/high-tea-14feb.

- There's a party on at The Golden Monkey on Lonsdale Street with Burlesque performances and love tarot readings, entry is FREE http://goldenmonkey.com.au/welcome/.

- Ludlow in Southbank is running a picnic lunch on Valentines's Day which sounds cool, it's $60 per person http://www.ludlowbar.com.au/whats-on/valentines-picnic-lunch/.

- The Heart Foundation is running Lock in the Love at Queensbridge Sqaure in Southbank. For $10 you get a padlock and heart shaped fob to write your message of love on and add it to the Lock in the Love installation. It's running Feb 10- Feb 14.

You could go to the St Kilda festival, a free event on the foreshore. A family friendly event with a variety of stages and music performances.
