most affordable suburbs for rental

Hey all. I was just wondering which suburbs are the most affordable for rental accommodation. And how the place is like in general, whether its safe or not.
I am looking for a one bedroom apartment/unit/flat

I have selected properties in a few different suburbs that are currently for lease ranging from $300 - $330. The properties below are walking distance to public transport, under 10km to the city and feature modern facilities. If these factors are not important for you in making a decision you will get something cheaper particularly if you further from the city. Not sure either if you have a car, two of the properties below do not have a car space. You mentioned a safety concern, I believe all these suburbs are secure.
