"Moonee Beach life"

My mother grew up in Moonee Beach on the western side of the highway on Old Bucca Road which is now Forest Glen as it was owned by her father Ambrose Corrigan.
My parents are the longest and oldest living residents of Moonee Beach since 1955 and we all grew up there. We are 3rd generation family living in Moonee Beach.
Moonee Beach is the best place you could live. I remember dirt roads and hardly any houses.
It is such a family friendly and tourist friendly community it is the place to bring up your children.
It is even better now that the shopping centre is there and the local tavern that has great meals at great prices.
Only being 10 minutes from Coffs Harbour (South) and Woolgoolga (North) there is so much to do.
Now that the Highway Upgrade is happening it is even better and faster to get to Coffs Harbour or Woolgoolga.

Recommend you try a unique piece of paradise.
Pros
  • Great Food at the Moonee Tavern
  • Bonus Coles Supermarket
  • Best place to live in Coffs...bch is minutes away, got the creek or surf to pick from.
  • Gr8 community atmoshere to live in, lots of people of all ages live there.

"Gr8 place for everyone to live."

I lived on Woodhouse Road at Moonee Beach from 1980 until the end of 1989 & it has changed so much over the years....wasn't a Coles or Tavern or even a single roundabout, when I lived there....was just a little country community....very friendly, quiet, safe, very close to the beach, lots of kids my age to play with...had the best years of my childhood living at Moonee Bch....very family friendly...we had gr8 neighbours.....the family who lived on our left are still there today....I recommend Moonee Bch to anyone & everyone!!!!!!!
