What is Robertson drive and surrounding streets like?

We are looking at a home / Investment in Robertson Drive in Mornington. But I have heard from 1 person to stay away. Can anyone else tell me what it is like and what streets we should be keeping clear of.

And seriously don't even bother with the local area primary school and the high school is good if you want to do a trade.."

Hello robbie DVE..'.question well I was born and bred in mornigton .&. Robbie DVE is in a house in estate and I would definitely recommend that you buy else were unless it is really good and cheap other than that I would definitely recommend that you say no DEAL.."

shaynejones The main problem is that you have to park your car out the front unless you have a descent sized garage if you don't have a garage don't expect your car to be out where you left it in the front in the morning hey .."

Depending upon your needs, there is no problem with Robertson Drive. It once had the stigma of being a bogan neighbourhood, but the character has shifted due to several first home buyers buying property in the area and transforming the landscape. Where once you could buy property easily under $300,000, nowadays properties under this level are much rarer and the demographic is continually shifting. As an investment its highly recommended with rents being approximately $290 - $350 per week for a standard 3 bedroom home and vacancy rates constantly pretty low. Hope this helps.
