"Relax with the country lifestyle"

This unique and popular country is located approximately 15 minutes from the McLaren Vale wine region and approximately 20 minutes from Victor Harbour.

The centre of the town houses the local amenities including the grocery store, petrol station, hardware store, hotel, butcher and a delightful bakery.

The local school offers the opportunity to study agriculture and a friendly atmosphere.

There has recently been significant growth with new subdivisions and the highly regarded golf course. Residents have enjoyed the benefits of purchasing affordable land that is generous in size and often enjoys an outlook of the beautiful surrounds. The standard of housing is generally
extremely good and family friendly.

Outside of the town centre you will find picturesque rolling hills and large rural properties.

Overall a very tranquil and relaxing place to live.

I've lived around this area now for 12 years between Compass, Hindmarsh Valley & Victor Harbor. The locals don't realize how good they've got it and I think because of this the area has remained a secret to some extent.

Just 15 minutes to the beach, its close enough to commute to work in the southern suburbs (20 minutes) & only 45 minutes to Adelaide. So close yet it feels like you're really living the country life - brilliant golf course, wine region & vineyards not far, magnificent panoramic views of trees, hills & valleys. Local traffic only through the new residential area. New wetland area is under construction and the whole town is beautifully quiet except for the songs of birds.

It has an excellent school with a balance of academic and horticultural/agricultural focus. The local IGA supermarket is open 7 days a week until mid evening and public holidays and you can get most things you need there so its pretty convenient. Great little cafe & bakery, local pub & clean fresh air. It's cheap, quality, clean living.

Excellent opportunities for young families, couples, first homers & retirees looking to buy fair priced, near new homes. There is still some good land for sale, the soil is sandy loam with no rock and is very cheap to build a house on because the footing costs are so low. Yes I do own land here for all the reasons I have just mentioned.

Mount Compass is an excellent place to live and an excellent investment for capital gain in the near future.
