What is it like to live in Nanango and is the crime rate bad?
I am looking at property in Nanango for sale. I am a semi retired counselor and ex soldier looking to start a new chapter and live a quiet life. I like the country town feel and like to be involved in my community. I have had mixed responses about nanango quite to my surprise. many say it is good while others say it has a serious drug problem and similar to the city. I wish to move from Pine Rivers area due to this reason. I don't wish to jump out of the frying pan into the fire so to speak. So I thought the best way is to ask the locals and get a truthful response. I know crime is everywhere these days but I want to try and get a way from alot of it. Living in the country hopefully enables that. I have 5 grown up children that are all professionals and they visit occasionally. I want a nice quiet area where I wont be robbed as soon as I turn my back. Can I please get honest responses from locals and how they feel about the town. The ups and downs would be great. Much appreciated.Question asked via Homely.com.au The opinions expressed here are those of the individual and not those of Ray White.
