"Something Special"

Neerdie is a small none the less quaint village that offers something pretty special to whom ever visits the area. It has a unique beauty like no other place I have seen. Upon waking in the morning the sound of abundant bird life reminds me of how important it is to take time out to listen to what mother nature shares with us. One of the most beautiful aspects of Neerdie is the opportunity to be a part of a real community. Living on small acre blocks we still have the comfort of knowing our neighbours are close by if we feel like company as well as the space for privacy. I have never belonged to a community like this one where everyone has time for one another.
Neerdie is a home for people of all ages. It attracts people starting a family to others who want to retire here away from the busy energy of the cities and suburbs.
Pros
  • Quiet, Community spirit, close to nature, close to the East Coast, Safe and child friendly.
Cons
  • the drive is 25 min to Gympie - this does bother some people.
