If you live a short walk from Nundah train station and Sandgate Road, then public transport is very easy. Trains run every 15 minutes, during peak times, trains pass every 3 to 4 minutes as there are two lines which run through Nundah station, Caboolture and Shorncliffe lines. You can even be at the Gold Coast within 1 and half hours or the Airport within 25 minutes by simply changing two stops away at Eagle Junction station. There are Brisbane City Coucil buses which run to Toombul Shopping Centre interchange, from there you can go pretty much any where. Also going north on Sandgate Rd the buses take you to Sandgate beach or Redcliffe if you are keen for a dip, kite surf or just chill with the gorgeous bay views to Moreton Island (also easy to get to if you like pristine clear ocean and friendly dolphins who visit the jetty area every evening). I live in Henchman Street Nundah and I do not have a car, just my mountain bike. There are some good long tracks which follow streams, which are easy to get to from Nundah.
