"Better than Clyde/Clyde Nth"

Traffic is well managed - easy access off the Monash, another exit is currently being built. + princess highway.
Private schools, Public Schools and Special Needs Schools.
Council building close and central.
Arena shopping centre + a shopping strip to be built around the council/train station area.
Not too far from the Pakenham home maker center and bunnings.
Train station nice and close.
Beautiful parks.
Footy ground well maintained.
Nice mix of families and older retirees in the community.
Friendly neighbours, well maintained front yards.

The biggest pro is the Monash being so easily accessible and the proximity to beaconsfield and berwick, and also the ability for someone with a family if they wanted to go camping to Bunyip state park + further, 1hour train ride to the city. 20 mins to Fountain gate.

"Professionals Paradise"

The mid income level people from all nationalities live here.
It is safe and used to be quiet and peaceful, but recently the area has become very noisey with loud subs music from only handful of the people causing area to loose is peaceful environment.
Councils require more focus on enforcing rules.
The good suburbs can quickly tuen in to a bad suburb.

"UP & COMING"

Over the past few years, Officer has exploded from farm land to metropolis. The area is selling very quickly with many young families and downsizers choosing to call the area home. The northside of Officer is considered premium by the locals, however many of the other estates are certainly just as gorgeous with an array of parks and walking tracks etc. The heart of Officer is currently under development however there are a few shops and cafes for you to enjoy. Definitely a "new" suburb as progress on development continues but certainly a favourite. Quick access to the freeway, and public transport - bus & trains.

kmizzi
kmizzi Hi there, looking to invest in officer and possibly build or move in, in the future. However was wondering if there will be any up coming changes to the area, ie, schools, medical facilities, shopping facilities. Any help would be fantastic. Thank you!

David Gallagher Any reason why 'young people' moving into the estates is a con?
