Mate there's not much going on and the development that is is mostly by the cheap and nasty builders putting up the logo houses in a matter of a few weeks.

Hi there, not sure if there's much development happening in Port Douglas, to our knowledge not a drastic amount, however coming about 20minutes south to Palm Cove, North Point there are few substantial development happening. Or even Yorkeys Knob, we've had a foreign Investor Tony Fung show a significant amount of interest, the project has received State Approval and waiting on Federal Approval for this Aquis Great Barrier Reef Resort which is a multi-billion dollar project hoping to kick off building next year for an opening in 2018, he aims at making it another "man made wonder". If you go to the bottom of our homepage you'll see a tile for the detailed report, it says they're looking at employing over 9,000 people in its development. http://cairnsedgehill.ljhooker.com.au/
