Railway Estate is an excellent area to live for families with kids, retirees and professionals. It's handy to everything and located on the city fringe along the banks of Ross River. Railway Estate is home to many traditional Queenslanders that boast the quality of a bygone era with large block sizes but there are also unit complexes sprinkled across the suburb. It is just a few minutes drive to Palmer Street the wining & dining hub of Townsville and the city nightlife. Residents enjoy the conveniences and amenities of inner city living, without having to compromise on block size and their North Queensland lifestyle. Features include but are not limited to a large boat ramp for keen fishermen and water sport enthusiasts, spacious parks with riverside walking & biking trails, off leash areas for dogs and well established primary & high schools.
