"Child friendly, leafy suburb close to the city"

Riverview is a hidden gem close to the city and surrounded on three sides by water, with a friendly feel. Whenever I get a taxi home. The comment always is this is a really nice place to live, lovely houses, so quiet, I bet the kids love it here (and they do) and I wish ii could live here. Riverview has been my familys home now for seven years and after moving from England it delivers the Aussie dream.
Pros
  • Family friendly
  • Choice of ways to CDB Harbour Bridge or Anzac
  • Relaxing leafyliving 15 mins from the CBD
Cons
  • Lack of train
  • Lack of restaurants although Lane Cove, Hunters Hill are close

"Hidden Gem and undervalued"

Riverview is a small pocket of properties sitting clode to the habour's edge. Surrounded by parks and reserves as well as church grounds, it makes for perfect family environment. There are plenty of homes at land value which are priced well to enable affordable and contemporary upgrades. The nearby shopping is busy and not complicated and has all grocery big names. The residents are freindly and not pretentious mostly professionals and retirees.

"College On The Point"

St Ignatius College, Riverview would no doubt be the dominant landmark in this suburb which is adjacent to Lane Cove. The college and its magnificent grounds dominate the peninsular. Homes in the area are substantial, on large blocks of land, and bear a hefty price tag. Public transport access to Lane Cove and the City beyond is by bus.
