Need some info about Tip smell in air and dark streets as less light poles....

Hi. I am planning to move to Sunbury with my family. Someone mentioned me that the street are quite dark at night (no street lights) and its a Tip on Sunbury road Bulla which causes a smell in whole town and it will grow with time as its only 2-3 years old. Generally people dont like suberbs close to Tips because of the smell in air which also effects on the house prices as well. Can someone please say something about it would be great. Also which area is more better in Sunbury? thank you.

Hi. I have been living in Sunbury for almost 10 years, never once smell the bad smell from Bulla tip. It is so far away from the town and I live on the hill, even when there are strong wind, never smell anything. It is all clean and clear air here, much better than most Suburbs I would say. This town is very special, it is a town among rural area and will never be built up coz those area are close to airport. Hence, I expect the air will be as clean as now for years to come. I can only smell the tip when I drive pass it with the open air flow inside the car.

There are plenty of street lights, especially in those house estate but surprisingly, I can still see thousands of stars in the sky in front of my house.
