Where should a young twenty-somethings live?

My roommate and I are moving from the US to Surfers Paradise and won't have cars. We want to live close to everything (restaurants, transportation, etc.). We will be living there for 9 months and want to make the most of our time there. Any suggestions?

I guess it depends on your lifestyle.. If you'd prefer to be close for the night life, the Central Surfers Paradise is great! However for something a little more relaxed, you may consider looking on Chevron Island, as you are still within walking distance to the centre of Surfers Paradise, and all that it has to offer.

Central "Surfers Paradise" postcode 4217. Best beach, Bars restaurants, Major supermarkets 3, shopping, ample great apartments, Ocean views or river, cycle down hedges avenue. Opening in June next year brand new light rail taking you from the new hospital down to one of the best shopping centres in Australia .Pacific fair. See 1 /37 sunset Boulevard for rent.
