Decent agents around Toowong that don't charge standard QLD sale commission structure?
All the agents I've spoken to use the same inflated commission structure (5% of the first $18,000 and 2.5% of the remainder). This is so out of touch with the rest of Australia where agents are doing the same job and charging way less commission, or differently structured commission, for similar priced houses. Why is no-one prepared to step outside the box and offer true incentive-based commission structures, rather than this relic of the past? The regulations govern the MAXIMUM commission chargeable, but no-one seems to be interested in diverging from the standard formula.Question asked via Homely.com.au The opinions expressed here are those of the individual and not those of Ray White.
