"Brisbane to St Kilda and loving it!"

I recently moved from New Farm, Brisbane to St Kilda. I am so happy I moved to this part of Melbourne. I live near Albert Park so I am little out of the hussle and bussle of Acland Street but close enough to enjoy it's vibrant and colourful characteristics.

Loving the coffee / cafe and nightlife that surronds the area. Very Funky place to live !

DidiTops Hi, given that you're enjoying the St Kilda area, I was wondering if you could recommend anywhere similar in Brisbane. My husband and I (along with our 3 year old) are hoping to move to Brisbane soon (Melbourne would be first choice (and the St Kilda area) but his work means Queensland. We were two years in Adelaide (from the UK) and returned home as it was just too provincial and quiet. We wouldn't suit an isolated Aussie suburb in Brisbane, so any advice you can give as to areas would be really appreciated.
jgroves Hi, I would probably recommend West End or New Farm. Both have parks, cafes, and are surrounded by the river with a funky vibe. I have lived in both areas and would return in a heart beat. Ray White New Farm are very knowledgeable on the inner city Brisbane area. I am sure if you gave them a call they would be able to help you relocate and find the perfect spot to live. Good Luck!
DidiTops Thanks so much. That's incredibly helpful. It's always good to have a starting point and those areas sound ideal. I really appreciate.
MichiaNugent I would also recommend Paddington..
robynlouise Thanks, also heading down from Brisbane (who isn't), and it's helpful info.
JeainnyN Hi Jessica, we just moved to Melbourne and we are looking forward to renting a place in St. Kilda, we'd like to be close to Albert Park. What would you recommend?
