About Me

No one takes their job in real estate more seriously than Kunal Kumar.

Which is why everyone is shocked when they discover what career he would have chosen if he hadn’t got into real estate. Given the determined outlook he brings to every sale, you would never guess that Kunal once considered a career as a stand up comedian!

Aside from possessing a natural wit which is a welcome addition to what can be a tense time, Kunal is a gifted salesperson who is always looking for an opportunity to drive his sellers sale price higher. Whilst some people can spend a lifetime trying to develop their skills in putting a sale together, negotiation is an ability that comes naturally to Kunal, and something he takes great pride in.

Already in possession of many significant real estate awards, Kunal has personally sold over $60,000,000 in real estate in just his first four years. In 2012 Kunal was awarded the Ray White Canberra Rookie of the Year in recognition of his outstanding work ethic and commitment to his clients, and in 2013 Kunal was an integral part of the team that won Number 1 Regional Principal for Ray White in partnership with Ben Faulks.

Kunal is extremely passionate about the team at Ray White Belconnen, and says “there is no substitute for waking up every morning and looking forward to spending the day at work because you work with such great people who care about their clients”.

Kunal was born in India and is fluent in Hindi. He has a deep admiration for his parents and the opportunity that they provided him and his brother by shifting their life to Australia before the boys started High School. He remains very close to his family, and continues to be inspired by his parent’s determination and work ethic in their own small business.

"The centre of Gungahlin"

Hibberson Street is Gungahlin's main retail/commercial hub and has everything you could need. The street is also home to the ACTION bus interchange for the region and is within walking distance to the Gungahlin college, library and oval. Their is free parking in the street and the people in the area are really friendly.

"The place to be, live, shop, grow"

Gungahlin has quickly gained a reputation as one of North Canberra's most desired suburbs. The reason for its rise in my opinion is due to the continual development of its retail and commercial precinct meaning Gungahlin residents never have to go far from home for anything whether it is grabbing a nice cup of coffee or doing the grocery shopping.

It has grown immensely since the good old days when I moved to Canberra (8 years ago) when their was only the Woolworths building. Now with well over a hundred stores, hotel, college, library, oval and soon to be established cinema and a club or drinks establishment, Gungahlin is the place to be.

Now to housing and here are are few stats, 2202 private dwellings occupied by 5617 people. Almost 50% of the properties in Gungahlin (49.3%) are 4 bedroom houses compared to the 36.5% Australia wide average which is why the area has become very popular with families.

Another thing of note is that Gungahlin is one of the most multicultural areas in Canberra with 41.1% of the population born overseas which is also evident in the stores trading in the area.

I can highly recommend Gungahlin to anyone looking to relocate to Canberra or thinking about crossing the bridge (don't worry we are not that much different on this side) as it is a great family area where nothing is out of reach.
