"Close to CBD & North Adelaide"

Great location for those looking for value and close proximity to the City. Situated towards the top end of Torrens Rd, makes it an easy trip to town, although peak hour traffic can cause delays, especially in the mornings. Transport options include buses & trains. Lots of traditional sized blocks, with some renewal going on. Most homes are post war, with some pockets of Trust homes (& Ex-Trust). No more or less crime than anywhere else, the odd colourful characters, a large sports field in Johnston Reserve. Easy Access to O'Connell Street in North Adelaide for cafes & restaurants, as well as the Port Road zone with the Entertainment Centre, The Gov, etc. not to mention the Bombay Bicycle Club on Torrens Rd. & Aquatic Centre! Lots of services within a short drive.

"Don't Blink!"

A small suburb nestled between Renown Park, Dudley Park & Croydon Park. Mostly traditional sized homes and blocks, with a sprinkling of newer townhouses. Close to North Adelaide, many people confuse this tiny suburb with "Davoren Park". Let me tell you, it's nothing like it. Good public transport options (bus & train) and pretty quiet.

"An eclectic mix with major changes on the way!"

Great location, close to CBD and North Adelaide. Long been a tail of 2 sections - Small cottage style homes and Industry. North of Hawker St has primarily been the residential part of Bowden, and south, between Hawker St. & train line has been industrial with a few homes in the mix. This is a huge area & is about 3 time larger than the north side is with very few residents - for now. Major changes happening with the "Clipsal site" being redeveloped. Some beautiful examples of character homes throughout. Work has started, and the transformation will be ongoing for some time. This is a great location for investment!!!
Pros
  • Great investment opportunities
  • Close to Transport
  • Close to CBD

Just a small tree-lined street with 15 homes, all on one side. Green little park in the middle. Most homes were built in 2000/01. 150m from bus route, close to supermarket, Chemist, newsagent, local pub, and a couple of larger parks. We love it.

"Small City fringe suburb - Close to EVERYTHING!"

I've lived in Ridleyton since 2000. We love it here. Easy to get around, close to town, North Adelaide, etc. In the old days, it was called Croydon, the name changed on the eastern side of South Rd about 30 years ago. Most people don't know where it is. Sits between Brompton and South Rd, & Torrens Rd to the railway line. Got everything you need close by. Just 5 kms to CBD.
Pros
  • Mix of old & new homes
  • Close to EVERYTHING
  • Parks, big & small

  • The odd commercial building
